Concept Plans

We begin the design process by discussing what you are looking for in a new garden and any problems that need to be resolved. We will then measure your property and draft a base map. Depending on the scope of the project, we will draft about 3 different ideas, showing unique ways we can approach the layout of the garden. These loosely drawn plans will show the basic outline and a general thematic plan for the property. We then arrange a meeting to present and evaluate the ideas and emerge with your perfect design. We will also discuss materials, plants and accessories, keeping your style and budget in mind.

Master Plans

The next step is to implement the decisions made and draft a plan that contractors can use to give you a proposal for your project. This plan will detail design instructions, materials to be used, approximate square footage of all the elements, plants, lights and hydration zones. We will also draft a demolition plan which will detail all the elements in your current garden that will need to be moved, removed and disposed of.

Final Plans

The master plan is divided into two final plans, one details the hardscape to be installed and all the information that the installing contractor will need, and the other shows the plant placement, the botanical and common names of each plant and size suggestions. The licensed contractor can use these plans to install your project.
